EMT education and training will vary depending on your location, but the worldwide average is that EMT training requires anywhere from 300-350 hours of training depending on your cope of practice. These types of training hours could be from clinical experience assisting those in an ambulance crew or working within an emergency room itself.

The best thing to start with is to make sure you have a well developed resume; many schools will offer help in writing resumes, and even some offer help in finding an open position. The health care industry is one that is always looking for new workers and there will be opportunities for those who are actively out there looking for them.
