Paramedic & EMT Training Schools

We offer over 30 one- and two-year program options, as well as short term and specialized training and retraining courses for business, industry, and community. We award associate in applied science, associate in science, and associate in arts degrees; certificates; diplomas; and documents of completion for customized, short-term programs and courses. At MCC, we prepare technicians and skilled workers for careers in mechanical, engineering, and construction industries; allied health professions; and business occupations. We develop programs of study in cooperation with experts currently working in representative areas of technology and business.

Northern Maine Community College provides career and transfer programs that lead to associate degrees, diplomas or certificates. The students served have an opportunity to develop as individuals and to acquire the knowledge and skills necessary for employment or for transfer to a senior college or university. The college assists in economic and human resource development by offering programs of study, courses or seminars to employed individuals, specialized training to attract business and industry, and various community interest courses or seminars.

National College of Technical Instruction

NCTI was founded in 1988 in Sacramento, California, after the need was identified for EMS training resources in the Sacramento Valley. A coalition of private ambulance services initially funded the start-up, which began as a partnership with a local community college. Over the years, as the demand grew and EMS agency and college district boundaries were drawn and re-drawn, NCTI began to operate independently.
