Northern Maine Community College
- Northern Maine Community College provides career and transfer programs that lead to associate degrees, diplomas or certificates. The students served have an opportunity to develop as individuals and to acquire the knowledge and skills necessary for employment or for transfer to a senior college or university. The college assists in economic and human resource development by offering programs of study, courses or seminars to employed individuals, specialized training to attract business and industry, and various community interest courses or seminars.
National College of Technical Instruction
- NCTI was founded in 1988 in Sacramento, California, after the need was identified for EMS training resources in the Sacramento Valley. A coalition of private ambulance services initially funded the start-up, which began as a partnership with a local community college. Over the years, as the demand grew and EMS agency and college district boundaries were drawn and re-drawn, NCTI began to operate independently.
