- Miami Dade College is the largest and most diverse college in the nation. With eight campuses and more than 174,000 students from across the world, the College offers over 300 programs of study and several degree options, including vocational, associate, and baccalaureate degrees. MDC features numerous Continuing education classes, online credit classes through the Virtual College, the New World School of the Arts, The Honors College, and Dual enrolment.
Brevard Community College, Cocoa Campus
- Brevard Community College, located in the heart of Florida’s Space Coast, is a two-year, co-educational, publicly supported post-secondary institution. Half a century later, Brevard Community College’s 28,000 students take classes each year on one of four brick-and-mortar campuses that span 544 acres throughout the county. Most also take part in online learning offered through eBrevard.
North Florida Community College
- NFCC is located in Madison, Florida at 325 NW Turner Davis Drive. Madison lies in the center of NFCC’s six county service area, off of I-10 near I-75, and is near such major Florida cities as Tallahassee and Jacksonville. NFCC is also just minutes away from the Georgia border and is a short distance from the Gulf of Mexico and cities bordering the Atlantic Ocean. North Florida Community College is accredited by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools to award associate in arts degree, associate in science degree, associate in applied science degree, as well as career and technical certificates.
- Central Florida Junior College was established in 1957 when community leaders and citizens envisioned an educational resource that would help Marion, Citrus and Levy counties to grow and prosper. In 1958, Hampton Junior College opened as one of the first black, two-year colleges in the state, and in 1966 the colleges merged. The name was changed to Central Florida Community College in 1971 to reflect more accurately the character and purpose of the college serving a larger community. In 2010, the college changed its name to College of Central Florida.
- Palm Beach State has proudly served our students and the residents of Palm Beach County for 80 years. From its humble beginning in 1933, the college has experienced remarkable growth, rising from a small junior college with 41 students to a comprehensive state college serving 49,000 students annually at four locations strategically located throughout the county. Courses offered via the Internet are providing thousands of students locally and from around the world access to our programs at the College.
Pasco-Hernando Community College
- As Florida’s newest community college, Pasco-Hernando Community College combines high tech educational facilities and state-of-the-art programs with a traditional focus on teaching. With campuses located in natural, peaceful landscapes abundant with lush foliage and wildlife, PHCC provides all the advantages of a private liberal arts education— personalized attention, highly credentialed faculty, career and academic programs, and small class sizes— all at an affordable public community college price. Our AA program gives students a solid foundation in the arts and sciences with a choice of major emphasis in teaching, business, engineering and the social and behavioral sciences. Our Associate in Arts degree even comes with a guarantee: guaranteed admission into one of Florida’s 11 public universities as a junior.
